Mary M. Luther

Mary M. Luther, age 79, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on June 8, 1943, in Sidney, to the late Fred and Lucille (Smith) Weber.  On February 4, 1961, she married Donald “Dick” Luther, Sr., and he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter: Mary (Dwight) Riter of Troy; one son: Frederick (Sheila) Luther of Dayton; three grandchildren; and one brother: Ray (Linda) Weber of Sidney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Donald Luther, Jr.

Mary was formerly a driver for Dial-A-Ride and a receptionist for the city of Sidney.  She was also a former seamstress for Monarch Cleaners in Sidney.  Mary enjoyed sewing, crafts and shopping.  She attended Crossroads Church of God in Piqua. 

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Anna.  Family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
