Mary K. Sickles

Mary Katherine Sickles, age 69, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024,at her residence.  She was born on December 6, 1954, in Sidney to the late William and Shirley (Wilson) Sloan.  On December 29, 1984, she married Jeff Sickles, Sr., and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Mary Katherine is survived by five children: Jamie Douglas, Jermey Douglas, Kelly (Lonnie) Sowders, Jeff (Erin) Sickles, Jr. and Billie Sickles; 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Mary Katherine was preceded in death by her mother: Shirley Weatherhead; and one son: Jason Douglas.

Mary Katherine loved to play bingo and go to auctions and garage sales.  She had a big heart and would help anyone.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
