Mary J. Harris

Mary J. “Mert” Harris, age 68, of Sidney, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was born December 21, 1957 in Williamstown, Kentucky, to Charles Estes and Phyllis Dawson Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Darryl Harris, son, Robbie Price, daughter, Kenya (David) Lorang, three grandchildren, Savannah, Gracie and Luke Johnson, siblings, Charlotte Luther Keller, Vicki West, Pam Nauart, Margaret West, Sheila Leedy, Robin Meadows, Gerri Waldrop, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Adams, niece, Jami Ann West, nephews, Gary Freeman, Sammy Waldrop, and son-in-law Phillip Johnson.

Mary retired from Wilson Health, Sidney, after 35 years of faithful service. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing cards, bowling and interior decorating. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve West officiating. She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery.
