Marta Markeeta (Wight) Bolden

Marta Markeeta Bolden, 69, passed away on November 18th, 2025, in her residence in Lockington, Ohio. On May 30th, 1956, she was born in Troy, Ohio, to Martha and William Wight.

Marta attended Piqua High School. She then worked at Copeland Corporation in Sidney, Ohio, for a number of years. Marta then became a homemaker where she provided a warm home to her daughter and grandchildren.

Marta is survived by boyfriend of 36 years, Randal James; daughter Mahala Deon Bolden; granddaughters Raven (Landen Begley) Bolden and Regan Bolden; great grandchildren; Khalia Miller, Nova Updegraff, and Beau Begley; brother Jefferey (Sue) Wight; sister Cindy (Brian) Snapp; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends.

Marta is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and William Wight; a sister Chanita Wight; granddaughter Rylee Miller.

As she leaves this earthly place behind, she leaves a lasting memory of all the lives she touched. Her love for crafts and shopping, music and reading, and her love of God will be remembered by all. Hours of laughter and good times are engrained in those she leaves behind.

At Marta's request, no funeral services will be held. Condolences can be sent to the family home in Lockington, Ohio. Information can be provided upon request.
