Marjorie A. (DeLong) Latimer

Marjorie A. Latimer, age 79, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at her residence, with her daughters by her side.  She was born May 10, 1943, in Sidney to the late Forrest DeLong and Marie (Barhorst) DeLong.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Latimer on June 2, 2013.

She is survived by children; Nancy (Brian) Boyd of Sidney, Julia (Jeff) Emrick of Sidney, daughter-in-law, Peg Latimer of St. Paris, grandchildren; Duane Boyd, Benjamin (Tara) Boyd, Jordi (Danny) Fill, Brad (Kortney) Boyd, Robert Boyd and fiancee’Camryn Wilson, Holly (Brayden) Newland,  Jake Emrick, great grandchildren; Karter Boyd, Brynlee Boyd, Josie Fill, Ollie Fill  and soon to be, baby boy Fill.  Also surviving are siblings; Tom (Jean) DeLong of Dayton, Jane (Mike) Bowman of Sidney, John (Carrie) DeLong of Charlotte, NC,  and Mike (Natasha) DeLong of Charlotte, NC.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Latimer, son, Douglas Latimer, brother, Jerry DeLong and sister-in-law, Rosie DeLong.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney and a 1961 graduate of Holy Angels High School.  She retired from Amos Press in Sidney. Marjorie enjoyed family time and riding on a pontoon boat at Indian Lake.  She enjoyed having lunch with the Girls of 61.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, with Father Aaron Hess officiating.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.

In lieu of donations, contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church and/or Lehman Catholic High School in Marjorie's memory.
