Marjorie L Brackney

Marjorie Louise (Redinbo) Brackney, age 96 was born October 29, 1926, to Walter Raymond Redinbo and Ivolou Fredonna (Crowe) Redinbo.   Marjorie passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Pavilion Nursing Home in Sidney.  She was preceded in death by both her parents and her son, Roger Neil Brackney.

She is survived by children: Linda Lou Brackney Valentine, Larry Ray Brackney (Sue) and Connie Kay Brackney Lewis; sister: Vivan Lucy Redinbo Thomas;  daughter-in-law:: Rose Brackney of MO; nephew: Mark Thomas; and more grandchildren than she could count.

Marjorie loved people and worked in the service industry all her life.  She was a member of the Sidney Eagles Aere #1403, the American Legion and the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County.

She enjoyed meeting new people and her motto was “Everywhere I go, I make a friend”.  Her final words she wanted to  share are “The Lord has called me hone.  I want to thank everyone who has helped me over the last several years.  I had a lot of friends and I have had a lot of fun in my life.”

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
