Marion T. Honaker

Marion Tee Honaker, age 86, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on December 16, 1938, in Culloden, WV, to the late Amos Honaker and Ora Bell (Martin) Jacques.

Marion is survived by three brothers: Larry Honaker of Eugene, OR, and Dennis Jacques of Sidney, Charles (Jeannie) Jacques; ten children: Tim (Lisa) Honaker, of Sidney, Beth (Gary) Mullen of Sidney, Dee Ann (Mike) Honaker-Harris of Sidney, Michelle (Buck) Tillman of Anna, Linda (Donnie) Kerns of Worthington, WV, Tina (James) Osborne of Sidney, Saul (Christi) Honaker of McKenna, WA, Marci (Raymond) McElroy of Fairmont WV, Ben Honaker of Sidney and Anita (Mike) Rumney of Fairmont, WV; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings:  Reba Jones, Wanda Trabert, Dorothy Workman, Jimmy Jacques, Paul Honaker and Winifred Honaker.

Marion proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending church. He attended Sidney Apostolic Church.   Above all else, Marion loved his family.  He retired from Fairmont Printing in West Virginia.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Hina and Pastor Don Gilroy officiating.  Burial will be in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
