Margie C. Cantrill Davis

Margie C. Cantrill Davis, age 95, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born on August 8, 1927, in Opra, KY, to the late Robert and Jane (Smith) Cantrill.

Margie is survived by two sons: Terry (Kathy) Davis and Horbin Lee Brown, both of Sidney.  She is also survived by one sister: Martha Wight of Piqua; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Connie Jane Brown Huff and Tammy Ann Davis-Van Hook; five brothers: joe Cantrill, L. W. Cantrill, Willard Cantrill, Cortis Cantrill and Leo Cantrill; and one grandson; Alex Garner Van Hook.

Margie worked in a defense plant during World War II.  She then worked at Copeland Corporation for 45 years.  Margie was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, OH.  Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
