Lois Uberene Henman

LOIS UBERENE HENMAN, age 92, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at The Landings in Sidney.  She was born on October 4, 1928 in Sidney to the late Myron Dale and Bertha Ann (Ellis) Harrison.  On June 26, 1948, she married M. Joseph Henman.  He preceded her in death on October 6, 1994.

Lois is survived by two children: Michael J. Henman of Jupitar, FL and Carol (Michael) Brecount of Sidney, OH; grandchildren: Emily (Josh) Overbay and Laura (Matthew) Gatto; and great grandchildren: Griff Overbay, Blake Overbay and Annie Overbay.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Harrison and Delmer Harrison.

Lois was a 1946 graduate of Sidney High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Edison State College.  Lois enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, bowling and playing cards with her friends, especially bridge.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family.  Lois was a member of First Baptist Church in Sidney.  Lois was a retired accountant having worked for Wagner Manufacturing and Advance Auto Tube, both in Sidney.  She volunteered at Wilson Hospital in Sidney for many years.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Pearl Cemetery in Anna with Pastor John Young officiating.
