Lillian Eileen Symonds passed peacefully Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 98 at the Wapakoneta Manor in Wapakoneta, Ohio.
She was born January 26, 1928, to parents Charles and Elsie (Nichols) Miller. Both are deceased.
Lillian was married to Dale Murdean Symonds May 31, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2015 after 68 years of marriage.
They had three children, Darla (deceased) (Richard Line) of Sidney, Larry Symonds (Betty) of Venice Florida, Michael Symonds (Louise) of Jackson Center.
Lillian had seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Six siblings are all deceased.
She previously worked at Holloways in Jackson Center and Lowes in Sidney.
Lillian and Dale enjoyed traveling anywhere or visiting family. Many winters were spent in Florida. They traveled many miles with their Airstream for pleasure and as a representative for Airstream.
She liked to stay busy and enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and crocheting. Her crocheted scrubbers were well known.
A Celebration of Life will be held on their wedding anniversary day May 31st at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
She will be dearly missed.
