Lillian K. (Maxwell) New

Lillian K. New, age 87, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born June 19, 1938, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to Powers Maxwell and Margaret (Dick) Maxwell.

She was preceded in death by husband, Carlos New on December 16, 2002, one great-grandson, Carter and sister, Ethel Hughes and brother Luther Maxwell.

Lillian is survived by sons; Mike (Nancy) New and Tony New of Sidney, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother, Tuley Maxwell of Piqua, sisters; June Baker of Sidney and Ruby (Jay) Barlage of Ft. Loramie.

She was a member of the Sidney Baptist Church for many years. She retired from Copeland Corporation and Sidco in Sidney after many years of faithful service. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and crafting. Lillian loved camping and riding their Harley to the Grand Old Opry in Tennessee. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
