Larry D. Shoffner

Larry D. Shoffner, age 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1947, the son of Shorty and Glenna Shoffner (deceased) of Pemberton, OH.

Larry graduated from Fairlawn High School in 1965 and worked for Sidney Sand and Gravel until his retirement. He served in the United States Army and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post in Sidney.  Larry enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his free time hunting, fishing, golfing, camping and going to the racetrack.

Larry is survived by wife, Judy (Grillot) Shoffner, of Sidney. They were married in 1969 and enjoyed many years of fishing, camping and traveling to Tennessee.

Also surviving is brother/sister-in-law Wayne and Kathy Shoffner and nephews Kevin and Billy, six great nieces and nephews, son Tim Shoffner of Sidney, daughter/son-in-law Julie and Sheldon of Columbus, Ohio, granddaughters Abbey and Mariah with bonus grandsons RJ and Nick, all of Columbus.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating.  Burial will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, with full military honors performed by the U S Army and Shelby County Veterans.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s or Sidney Home Health and Hospice in Larry’s memory.
