Kenny R. Howard

Kenny R. Howard, age 67, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at his residence, Sunday, October 15, 2023. Kenny was born May 11, 1956, in Franklin County Ohio, to Donald Eugene Howard and Esther Lucille (Cooper) Howard.

Kenny met Alicia (Henderson) Howard in 1997 and married February 24, 2007.  She survives.

Surviving are his children; EsDonna Howard of Springfield, Naquita Howard of Columbus, Ohio, Latisha Howard, Kiana Howard, Desiree Howard and Tamia Howard, all of Sidney, and Sarah Wilson of Winston Salem, N.C.

Left to cherish his memories are brothers: Michael (Iris), Mark (Nancy) and Arnold (Ann) Howard, all of Springfield, Ohio, Brian (Michelle) Howard of Dayton, Ohio. Sisters: Roxanne Witmore of Arizona, Mia (Steve) Davenport, Springfield, sister-in-laws: Charmaine Howard and LaShonda Henderson, brother-in-laws: Paul Storey, Torey L. Henderson, Korey (Chastity) Henderson and T.J. Henderson, mother-in-law Betty Henderson and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his children; Shonda Howard, Phillip Howard, Keshawn Howard and Tamera Howard, brothers: Donald, Philip, Steve, Wayne and Daryl Howard, sisters: Tina Storey, Kimberly Howard and Tammy Furr.

Kenny was a graduate of Springfield High School, Class of 1974. He was a retired factory worker and a volunteer at the Red Cross and Fair Haven nursing facility.  He enjoyed telling people about God, fishing, mentoring, cooking, watching sports and having bible study with his mother-in-law and most of all being with his family and his cat Henny.  Kenny showed love to everyone he met, he knew no strangers and he will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery, with Elder Charlie Cooper officiating.
