Katherine "Kathy" M. Jester

Katherine M. Jester, age 76 of Christiansburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, May 11, 2020 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 2, 1943 in Hyden, KY, daughter of the late Hiram Woods and Mae (Keen) Woods. She married the love of her life, Terrance Jester, on December 4, 1965 and he survives.

Left to cherish her memory include sons: Niven Jester and wife Peggy of St. Paris, Russell Jester and wife Erica of Houston, Jess Jester and wife Misty of Rosewood; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters: Nancy Morgan of Hyden, KY, Betty Hensley of Hazard, KY, Linda Wilson of Hyden, KY, Ophia Morgan and husband Bob of Manchester, KY. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.

Kathy was a devoted wife and mother, spending much of her time caring for her home and her family. She was very active in various food pantries and enjoyed bowling. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 10:30 at Smith Cemetery in Christiansburg with Pastor Michael Maurice officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jester family to offset funeral expenses. Arrangements for the Jester family are in the care of Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.
