Karl R. Stewart

Karl R. Stewart, Jr., age 63, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on July 16, 1960, in Urbana, to the late Karl R. and Judith (Latimer) Stewart, Sr. 

Karl is survived by three sons: Karl R. (Melissa) Stewart, III, Jedediah Stewart and Jacob Stewart, all of Sidney; three granddaughters; five grandsons; one great granddaughter; and Four siblings: Gene (Carrie/0 Willoby of Quincy, Kelly Wood of Sidney, Jim Willoby of TN and Donna (Butch) Forrest of Nelsonville, OH.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Paula (Burch) Stewart on November 15, 2020. 

Karl proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.  He worked on the family farm and was of the Christian faith.  Karl was also employed at Formed Fiber in Sidney.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.  Karl also enjoyed playing cards, especially Gin Rummy and Yahtzee. 

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Dayton Veteran’s Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.theadamsfuneralhome.com.
