Julie Beth (Seewer) Stewart

Julie (Seewer) Stewart, age 62, of Maplewood, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the James Cancer Center on April 23, 2026.

She was born on March 3, 1964, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Carl Seewer and Virginia (Raterman) Seewer. Julie met the love of her life, Jim Stewart, in Beaumont, Texas, and they were married on June 9,1984, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio.

Julie is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; three sons, James Stewart, Sidney; Justin Stewart, Maplewood; and Jace Stewart, Sidney and four adored grandchildren, Ava, Maddyn, Raegan, and Nolan of Sidney. She is also survived by her sisters Karen Henson, Sidney; Sharon Asbury, Sidney; Natalie Buzzard, Wapakoneta; Janeil Cisco, Naples; and Carla Drees, Russia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Seewer.

A1982 graduate of Sidney High School, Julie built a respected career as a legal secretary for the Shelby County Clerk of Courts. She was a devoted member of Maplewood Methodist Church, where she found strength in her faith and close friendships.

Julie was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and loved all sports, especially watching her sons and grandchildren compete. She also cherished time spent by the water—whether relaxing by the swimming pool or enjoying beautiful days on Randall Lake in Michigan.

Julie will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and her unwavering faith. Her smile was infectious, and presence touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

A viewing and funeral service will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
