Joyce E. (Schmidt) Meadows

Joyce E. Meadows, age 68, of Sidney, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Wilson Health in Sidney.  She was born May 16, 1952 in Sidney,  to the late Val Leonard Schmidt and Mary Margaret (Luma) Schmidt.

She is survived by son, Thomas Edward (Victoria Jean) Meadows of Huron, Ohio, special friend, Kristi Weaver, grandchildren; Kaleb Weaver, Joseph Meadows II, Samuel Meadows, Rachel Meadows, Elizabeth Meadows, brothers; Steve Schmidt of Sidney, Andrew (Karen) Schmidt of Sidney, David Schmidt of Michigan and Mike (Stephanie) Schmidt of Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by son, Joseph Andrew Meadows and brother, Jerry Schmidt.

Joyce was retired after many years of service from Komyo of America in Troy. She enjoyed working word puzzles and crocheting.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. 

Private graveside services will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, Southwest Regional Office, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 in Joyce’s memory.
