Joseph D. Lucas

Joseph D. Lucas, age 37, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital.  Joey was born on August 17, 1987, Rodney Lucas and Barbara (White) Lucas in Sidney.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by one daughter: Madison Lucas of Sidney; siblings: Donnie Hewitt, Jr., Michael Hewitt, Kenneth Lucas and Stacy (Tony) Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a 2005 graduate of Sidney High School and JVS Carrer Center.  He worked many years at Miami Valley Polishing of Sidney.  He loved fishing, woodworking, photography and drawing.  Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365.  Graveside service will be held at a later date.
