Joseph Lee Overton

Joseph Lee Overton, age 38, of Piqua, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 8, 2025. He was born August 10, 1987, in Sidney, to Laura Overton Taborn and Joey Franklin.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Jessica Ritz, his daughter, Theodora Overton, his mother, Laura Taborn, his brother, Brian (Brooke Gates) Taborn of Sidney, nephews ; Lamarcus, Brian Jr., and Bryson, and niece Kyndall.

He is preceded in death by his step-father Brian Taborn Sr. and his father Joey Franklin.

Joseph was a 2005 graduate of Sidney High School.  He was employed at Plastic Recycling Technology in Piqua.  He enjoyed reading and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

A memorial will be held at Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 450 Folkerth Avenue in Sidney, Ohio, on December 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
