Joseph Henry Cowen

Joseph Henry Cowen, age 74, of Houston, passed away the morning of Monday, December 18, 2023, at Covington Care. He was born on August 13, 1949, in Freyburg, Ohio.

Joe lived his life dedicated to family and the running of the family dairy and farm in Houston where family and friends continue in his memory. He was a lifelong baseball fan who delighted in rattling off stats for his favorite team, the Cincinnati Reds. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Lucille, and his brother, William.  Joe's surviving family include two brothers, Albert and Jim, his sister Mary Jane, and many nieces and nephews. 

A small service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Houston Cemetery, with family, before he is laid to rest with the family that has preceded him in death.
