John N. Kaeck "Nathan"

John N. Kaeck ”Nathan”, age 35, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

Nathan was born July 22, 1985 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to parents, Robin (Herring) and Doug Metz of Sidney and Mike Kaeck of DeGraff. He married Jammie (Wilson) Kaeck on February 28, 2020 and she survives. 

Also surviving is son, Abel Kaeck of Sidney, siblings; Kara (Kyle) Muehlfeld of Sidney, Joey Kaeck of DeGraff, Deidra (Chris) Parker of DeGraff, Megan Kaeck of DeGraff, grandparents Clarence & Ruth Metz Jr. of Botkins, parents-in-law Rachelle and Greg McClellan of Houston, in-laws; Kasha and Zach Payne of Houston, Jaiden Stone of Houston, Kayla, Kyler and Jacob Huber of Houston, and niece and nephew; Kane and Kinleigh Muehlfeld of Sidney.

Nathan was preceded in death by brother, Brett Metz and grandparents, John and Sherril Kaeck and Tom and Sue Herring.

He was a 2004 graduate of Fairlawn High School and was of the Christian faith. Nathan was employed as a Supervisor at KTH Parts in St. Paris. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye’s and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing basketball, fantasy football, fishing, golfing and playing poker. What made Nathan special was his big heart and the love and dedication that he had for his son and family.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Rd., Sidney, Ohio.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Alan Leach officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.
