John Bower Obituary
In loving memory of John E. Bower who was born February 2, 1930, John went home on December 17, 2019 at 1:50 a.m. John was 89 years old.
John was employed as maintenance man for Baumfolder Corporation in Sidney for 40 years. He loved baseball and played the game well into his 70’s. He also liked to watch football and was an Ohio State Buckeye’s fan. John also liked to go camping and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family and was a long time member of the Only Believe Ministries in Botkins, Ohio.
John was the son of late Edward Bower and Osa Mae (Duddley) Bower. He was father to Johnny Ray Bower (deceased).
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Elsass Bower, sister, Patsy Cook who is now 99 years old, son, Rodney William Bower, daughters; Sharon Gale Hewitt and Trina Lynn Bower, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held January 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Only Believe Ministries, Botkins, Ohio. Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
