Jimmie B. Harbin, age 74 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 7, 1946 in Westmoreland, Virginia. His father, Willie Harbin and mother Maxine Pearl (Garrett) Harbin preceded him in death.
Surviving include his wife, Doris “Jodi” Ann (Casey) Harbin, whom he married on April 29, 1985; Children; Lori Harbin, 3 Rivers, Michigan, Toni Harbin, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jim (Melissa) Harbin, 3 Rivers, Michigan, Joseph Saylor, Lima, Elizabeth Saylor, Tennessee, Paul Saylor, Kentucky, Kim (Jim) Ramsey, Bradenton, Florida; Grandchildren, Logan, Jaylan, Chase, Dustin, Alex, Matthew, Madison, Gabriel, David, Antonio, Devin, Tiffany and Brandon. Sisters-in-law; Cheryl Oda, Sidney and Cynthia Harbin, Dayton. Nephews; William Butts II (Christen), Sidney, Steven Butts, Jackson Center, Robert Kiser (Amanda), Sidney, Amanda Harbin, Dayton, Heather Lewis (Jeffrey), Dayton and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny, Charles, Freddie, and Billie, and three sisters, Judith, Mary and Betty.
Jimmie attended a Church of God in Sidney. He was a professional painter for many years prior to his retirement. He loved fishing, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and was an avid collector of Harley memorabilia. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. At Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Condolences may be expressed online at theadamsfuneralhome.com.
