Jewell D. King

Jewell D. King, age 78 of Sidney, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 19, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1942 in Kermit, West Virginia to the late George Williams and Ada (Salmons) Williams.

Left to cherish her memory include: children Rick (Shelly) Ferguson of Sidney, Dreama (Frank) Braun of Botkins; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings Reba Crouch, Ruthie Bell, Dennis Williams, and Phyllis Doseck. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Walter Williams.

Jewell was a 1960 graduate of Kermit High School in West Virginia. She retired from Copeland Corporation after many years of service. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Peter Doseck officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Quincy. Arrangements for the King family are in the care of Adams Funeral Home.
