Jeffery Q. Hamblin

Jeffery Q. Hamblin, age 59, of Maplewood, passed away Christmas Eve December 24, 2025, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born January 7, 1966, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, to the late Herman Hamblin and Shirley (Williams) Hamblin, who survives in Sidney.

Also surviving are children; Heather Hamblin, Ashlyn Hamblin, Haley (Shylynn) Hamblin of Sidney, and Zachary Hamblin of Maplewood, six grandchildren, brother, Herman (Becky) Hamblin of Quincy and sister, Amy (Andy) Fitzgerald of Sidney.

Jeffery was of the Christian faith and attended Fairlawn High School. He was employed at Ross Aluminum and was a talented handyman.  After his accident that left him as a paraplegic, he did many handyman projects.  Jeffery was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from  4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating. Internment to follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
