Janis K. Burger

JANIS K. BURGER, age 70, formerly of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born on November 11, 1950 in Oneida, TN to the late Joe and Lois (Bradley) Ryan.

Janis is survived by one son: Nathan (Israel) Burger of West Carrollton; one granddaughter: Shelby Cruea; and siblings: Jack Ryan of Biloxi, MS, Brad (Star) Ryan of Biloxi, MS, Scott (Tracie) Ryan of Amite City, LA and Saundra Nelson of DeKalb, TX.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Melinda “Mindy” Burger.

Janis attended Sidney High School.  She retired from Copeland Corporation after many years.  Janis was of the Christian faith.  She was an avid reader, especially anything set in England or the South.  Janis was a member of the Industrial Bowling League with her co-workers for many years.  She was also an over-the-road truck driver for the Nelson Group.
