Janet L. Lentz

Janet L. Lentz, age 67, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on June 19, 1955, in Sidney, to the late Ollie and Wilma (Gump) Millhouse.  On July 8, 1988, she married Gary Lentz and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by two children: Gaylene Gallimore of Dayton and Martin (Ashley) Blair of Sidney; one brother: Tom (Deb) Millhouse of New Bremen; five grandchildren: Anduryn, Kylie, Nita, Makylah and Daxten; and one great grandchild: Hazel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim Millhouse and John Millhouse; and bonus parents: Pete and Helen Blair.

Janet retired from Staples.  She graduated from Malone College in Canton, OH, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Janet was of the Christian faith.  She was a diehard fan of bowling.  Janet also was a Disney collector, a chocoholic, a shopaholic and loved animals.  She especially loved her cats and dog.  Janet’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, children and family.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Kris Geise officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
