Janet M. (Hickman) Driskell

Janet M. Driskell, age 76, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Shelby Skilled Nursing Home in Sidney.

She was born February 1, 1948, in McCurry County, KY., to the late Earl Hickman and Delphia (Nevels) Hickman.

On January 1, 1980, she married Robert “Bob” M. Driskell, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2020.

She is survived by daughter: Annette (Robert) Smith of Sidney, granddaughters: Brittany Cornett and Karen Ransbottom of Sidney, stepchildren: Rickey (Darlene) Driskell of Sidney, Kenneth (Victoria) Sparks of Sidney, Robert (Vicky) Driskell Jr., of Sidney, John (Tina) Driskell of Tampa, FL., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters: Violet Helman and Charlene Jones of Sidney.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband Robert Driskell and stepson Timothy Driskell.

Janet was retired from the Brick Barn in Sidney; she was a member of the Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sidney.  She enjoyed gardening and collecting items. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brent Driver officiating, Interment will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.
