James H. Watson

James (Jimbo) H. Watson, age 73 of Jackson Center, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio.

He was born May 13, 1950, in Kenton, Ohio, to the late Lee and Ruth (Hatcher) Watson.  James married Linda Sue Bowyer on August 6, 1977; she preceded him in death on April 10, 2012.  He is also preceded in death by his brother Tony Watson and brother-in-law John Callahan.

He was a loving and caring father and PawPaw.

He is survived by his children, Tanya (Kevin) Wray, Jerry (Veronica) Watson, Jamie Watson, Sherri (Daniel) Snyder, Joseph Jeffers and Jacob Jeffers. His grandchildren, Kelcie Wray, Katelyn (Jacob) Houchin, Ashlyn Wray, Keysha Wray, Devin Wray, Ciara Wray, Tyler (Kaley) Watson, Melanie Watson (Trystan Lloyd), Brianna, Destany Pastva, Caleigh Pastva (Sheldon Taylor, Austin (Rhonda) Watson, Anthony (Emily) Watson, Abby (Trisha) Watson, Ava Watson, Josh (Erin) Watson, LeRoy (Brooke) Oakley, Amber (John) Rowe, Katelyn (Ricky) Urban and Brandon (Chelsea) Oakley.  His great-grandchildren, Jacob, Eloise, Raelyn, Jordan, Jaxton, Kaycen, Delilah, Braelynn, Tobias, Lennox, Niklaus, Allyson, Gunnar, Clark, Charlotte, Cooper, Candin, Kaylee, Carter, Landon, Bella, Audia, Silas, Trey, Branson, Hendrix, Korbyn, Peyton and Oliver. His siblings, Carol Colasanti, Kathy Hayden, Mike Watson, Andy Watson, April Callahan, and his long-time companion and caregiver Bobbie Stewart.

James loved playing the piano and many other instruments.

James will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
