James R Richardson

James R. Richardson, age 52, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly March 11, 2020.  He was born August 7, 1967 in Sidney, to the late Jimmie Richardson and Loraine (Hammer) Richardson who survives in Sidney.

He married Melissa (Lay) Richardson on May 7, 2011 and she survives in Sidney along with his children; Brandie (Demetrias) Bright Sr. of Lockhart, Florida, Cheyenne Reeve and significant other, Jon Hoelscher of Sidney, Morgan Reeve and significant other Leon Day of Port Jefferson, three grandchildren; Anahia Reeve, Maizey Hoelscher, Demetrias Bright Jr.  Also surviving are siblings; Jimmie Dwayne (Deanna) Richardson of Louisville, Kentucky, Melissa Richardson of Sidney, Kathy Wilkins of Sidney, Danny (Donna) Richardson of Bithlo, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

James was involved in maintenance work all of his life.  He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar.  He loved working in his yard and gardens. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 16, 2020,  from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chad Inman officiating.
