Jacqueline L. Hines

Jacqueline Lynn Hines, age 60, of Lima, formerly of Sidney, passed away on April 5, 2023, at her residence.  She was born in Sidney on February 13, 1963, to the late Herman Thompson and Audra (Dalton) Thompson Hughes.

In addition to her parents, Jackie is survived by her significant other: Jonny Johnston of Lima; children: Jacob Curtis of New Carlisle, and Blake Curtis of Piqua; three grandchildren: Mila, Greyson and Adalynn; and siblings: Herman (Jane) Thompson of Summerville, SC, Bruce (Beth) Thompson and her twin brother, Johnny (Laura Osborne) Thompson, both of Sidney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepfather: Charles Hughes.

Jackie was a 1981 graduate of Sidney High School and Upper Valley Career Center.  She was employed at Ohio Northern University.  She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney.  Jackie was very down to earth, easy going, hip and stylish.  She was silly and fun loving.  Jackie was a nurturing soul, loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed riding Jonny’s Harley, sometimes with her dog, Bella, strapped to her chest.  Jackie also loved going to Indian Lake, spending time with her family and decorating her house.  She was a great cook.  Jacqueline was always the first one to help others.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Chad Wilson officiating.  Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
