Jack F. Lynch

Jack F. Lynch, age 90, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022.  Jack was born on September 17, 1931, in Dayton, OH, to the late John and Lorretta (Hummel) Lynch.  On April 30, 1960, Jack married Mary Elizabeth Bysak in Dayton and she preceded him in death.

Jack is survived by three sons: John (Diane) Lynch of Sidney, Joseph (Gloria) Lynch of Wapakoneta and Frank Lynch of Sidney.  Jack’s grandchildren are Joseph and Robert Lynch of Wapakoneta, Sarah and Kelli Lynch of Columbus, and Jamie Mumford of  Covington.  He has one deceased grandson: Frank Lynch.  Jack is also survived by his brother: James (Sue) Lynch of Chapel Hill, NC, and has two deceased brothers: Jerry and Thomas Lynch.  Jack had many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Jack is a veteran of the US Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict.  He was a mechanical engineer for several firms located in Dayton, OH, and he retired after being employed at Monarch Machine and Tool Company for 23 years.  Jack belonged to the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.  For many years, he served in the St. Vincent DePaul organization in Dayton.

Family and friends may call from 8:00 – 9:45 AM on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney at 10:00 AM on Monday with Fr. Jarred Kohn as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
