J C Davis

J. C. Davis, age 91, of Sidney, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.  He was born July 14, 1933, in Frakes, Kentucky, to the late Rev. Robert Davis and Lilly (Lambdin) Davis.

On November 10, 1952, he married Mary O. (Sparks) Davis and she survives.

J.C. is survived by children; Gary (Jodi) Davis of Wapakoneta, Jeff Davis of Sidney, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and brother J.B. Davis of Benton, Kentucky.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson: Aaron Davis.

He was preceded in death by son Larry Davis, two sisters and two brothers.

He was past President of Didders, Inc. in Piqua, for over twenty years. He was a member of the Lima Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved to work, fish and spend time with his family and grandchildren.

A private service will be held on December 23, 2024, at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, officiated by Pastor Terry Brock.  Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
