Ingrid R (Schwab) Spain

Ingrid R Spain, age 81, of Sidney passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on  August 2, 2025.  Ingrid was born Ingrid Schwab in Schweinfurt, Germany to the late Karl and Regina Schwab.  Ingrid is survived by her children, whom she cherished, Janet (Todd) Huff of Piqua,  Gary (Robin) Spain of Sidney and Stacy Johnson of Sidney.  Ingrid is also survived by  three loving siblings Renate Schneider of Germany, Wolfgang Schwab of Germany and Peter Schwab of Germany.  Ingrid has five Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.

Ingrid came to America 56 years ago to become an American citizen. Ingrid spent many years working at Copeland before retiring.  Ingrid was follower of the Catholic faith.  In Ingrid's spare time she loved to play Bingo, cook and spend her time with family.  Ingrid was an avid reader, she enjoyed all types of reading, anything from magazines to books of all genres. 

Ingrid will have a Private Celebration of Life at a later date to be announced.
