Ham Junior Cole, age 52, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima.
He was born March 8, 1968 in LaPorte, Indiana to Ham Cole Sr. of Waynesfield, Ohio and the late Jessie Alene (Roark) Cole.
He married Donna (Schutte) Cole on July 6, 2000 and she survives. Also surviving are daughters; Julia Geuy of Sidney and Jayna Geuy of Lima, grandchildren; Jennaya, Javion, Matthew, Allison and brother, Larry Cole of Lima.
Ham was owner/operator of his own trucking company for many years. He worked for Kaplan Trucking Company in Gary, Indiana for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed being around heavy equipment and semi trucks and talking with the many people which he encountered on a daily basis. Ham was a 17 year survivor of lung cancer, at the end of his life, he gave one of the greatest gifts, as an eye donor. He was an honorable man who never met a stranger, and gave to others whatever he had. His life slogan was “Give me my roses while I am alive.” He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family may visit on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Anthony Krummery officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
