Glenn V Hicks

Glenn V. Hicks, age 102, of Sidney, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 27, 2025, at The Landings of Sidney.  He was born June 6, 1923, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Glen E. Hicks and Florence (Keith) Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. (Zettel) Hicks, on October 28, 2024.

Glenn is survived by daughters, Cheryl (James) Quasius and Donna Sinha of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Glenn proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He retired from Copeland Corporation as an Engineer after many years of faithful service. Glenn and his wife loved traveling in their motor home discovering all fifty states. Glenn will be best known as a loving father, husband and grandfather.

There was a full military service performed on January 21, 2026, at the Rosedale Cemetery in Conover with the Shelby County Veterans and the US Army.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.
