Gladys V. (O'Quinn) Puckett

Gladys V. Puckett, age 89, formerly of Pemberton, passed away November 21, 2022, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima.  She was born December 12, 1932, in Saltville, Virginia, to the late Gus O’Quinn and Ellen (Prater) O’Quinn.

She is survived by son, Dan Puckett of Anna, daughter Cathy Lenhart of Cridersville, grandchildren; Christina Vondenhuevel, Gus, Becky, Caleb, Kaylee, Seth, Christopher, Andrew, Harley, Joe Jr., Michael Puckett, Angela Santos, Jason, Drew, Jenna Puckett, Nicole and Derek Lenhart, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Also surviving are brother J. W. (Rachel) O’Quinn of Landrum, South Carolina, daughter-in-laws, Rebecca (Joe) and Debbie  (Phil) Puckett of Sidney.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Ira Puckett, sons Joseph and Phil Puckett, one grandson, one granddaughter, two great grandsons, one great-great grandson, four sisters and two brothers.

Gladys retired from Dorothy Love Retirement Center after 47 years of faithful service. She was a member of the Pemberton Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilting, cooking and reading.  She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Ernie Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.
