Frankie L. Brooks

Frankie L. Brooks, age 66, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born on October 11, 1956, in Sidney to the late John and Myrtle (Troxell) Brooks.

Frankie is survived by one son: Joshua (Amber) Brooks of Celina; two grandchildren: Bryer Brooks and Aubrey Brooks; two brothers: Tim Brooks and Scott Brooks, both of Sidney; and three sisters: Wanda Brooks of Sidney, Sandra (Clarence) Stephens of Sidney and Carol Brooks of Russell Springs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Judy Sharp.

Frankie was a 1974 graduate of Anna High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force.  Frankie was a member of AmVet Post 1986 in Sidney.  He enjoyed baseball, running 5Ks and was an avid bowler.  Most of all, Frankie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.  Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery in Celina with military honors provided by VFW 5713 of Celina and the US Air Force.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
