Everette "Ray" Goins

Everette “Ray” Goins, age 84, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.

He was born June 10, 1937 in Lafollette, TN., to the late James Goins and Pheba (Lumpkins) Goins.  He was married to Angela (Waddleton) Goins who preceded him in death on February 11, 2015.

Everette is survived by children; Paul (Sheila) Schroeder of Christiansburg, Ohio, Tony Mossor of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Matt (Donna) Bauer of Newark, Ohio, Debbie Mossor of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Steve Mossor of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela, three brothers and one sister.

Everette retired after 30 years of faithful service from Chrysler Airtemp of Dayton. He was of the Christian faith and attended the Sidney Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his time, hunting and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m.  with Pastor John Butts officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Silent Home Cemetery in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
