Eugene Cornett Obituary

Eugene D. Cornett, age 72, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He was born February 25, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Dayton Cornett and Margaret (Leach) Cornett. On September 2, 1970, he married Mary (Gooch) Cornett and she survives.

Also surviving are son Terry Cornett of Sidney, daughter Rhonda Cornett of Conover, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brothers; Carl (Juanita) Cornett of Brooksville, Florida, Bobby (Imogene) Cornett of Kings Mount, Kentucky, Lillian Cornett of New Haven, Indiana, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers; Eddie Cornett and Michael Cornett.

Eugene was of the Christian faith. He was employed at Direct Graphics in Sidney. He enjoyed watching TV and doing yard work. He loved spending time with his grandkids, family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, Kentucky.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.
