Erma Mae Cotterman

Erma Mae Cotterman, age 92, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima. She was born on June 6, 1930, in Sidney to the late William and Annie (Michael) Morelock.

Erma is survived by two children: Linda Argabright and Daniel Wenrick, both of Sidney; four grandchildren: Amy Ayers, James Wenrick, Chad Argabright and Travis Argabright; three great grandchildren; sister: Helen Woodell of Sidney; step children: Royal C. Cotterman, Jr. of Sidney, Judy (Robert) Oldham of Sidney, Michael (Deborah) Cotterman of Sumter, SC, Terry (Mellisa) Cotterman of Versailles and Denise (John) McCune of Ft. Loramie; and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Robert Eugene Wenrick and Royal C. Cotterman; one daughter-in-law; Bonnie Wenrick; two sisters: and one brother.

Erma loved to travel, especially in Texas, with her second husband, Royal C. Cotterman.  She was an active member of Sidney American Legion Auxiliary.  Erma was essential in helping establish the Sidney DAV by running bingos to raise money.  She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Pastor Robert Berryman.  Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.  Family will receive friends from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
