Obituary
Elva Towzey, age 97, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Momentous Health Care in Sidney.
On August 11, 2023, Elva L. Towzey born February 25, 1926, in Elizabeth, Pa., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Elva was the daughter of the late Hugh E. Towzey and Helen (Willard) Towzey of Elizabeth, Pa.
She graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1944 and spent her life devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts and spending time at the Senior Center with her friends, and she will always be remembered for her smiles and giving soul.
Her son, Gary R. Baker, preceded her in death in 2009, and in 2010 she moved to Sidney, Ohio to be with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter Janice (Jeff) Booth in Sidney, Ohio, and 3 grandsons; Anthony (Melissa) Dinzeo of Columbus, Ohio, Aaron Dinzeo of Providence, Rhode Island, Aiden Booth of Sidney, Ohio, and 3 fur babies Coco, Archie and Rooney.
She will be returning home to her final resting place at Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, PA., Memorial services will be announced by Patrick T. Lanigan in Turtle Creek, PA.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.
