Obituary
Elijah D. Ellis, age 5, was called to be a heavenly angel on November 12, 2022, at Children’s Hospital in Akron.
He was born December 23, 2016, in Sidney, to Justice Ellis and Alyssa Myers.
Elijah is survived by grandparents; Clint and Roxy Ellis, David and Lori Myers, Kathleen Wade, Billie Yohannes, Rosa Ellis, Linda and Jerry Marvin. Also surviving are sister Aliviana Lopez, uncles; Trevor Chase, Darius Ellis, aunts; Kourtney Gallimore, Kendra Ellis, Hailee Ellis, Kirsten Ellis and Lindsey Jones.
Elijah attended Longfellow School in Sidney. He loved all kinds of cars and wanted to be a policeman when he grew up. He brought joy to many with his playful ways and loving heart.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryce Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
