Elaine Cummings

Elaine Cummings, age 65, passed away on May 9, 2024, in Sidney, Ohio.  She was born on November 2, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, and lived and worked in New York City, where she met her husband, Bill, until moving to Ohio to start their family.  Elaine was a devoted member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where she found solace and community.  Elaine was passionate about art, needlepoint, music and mysteries.  She loved animals and cared greatly for her cat, Pumpkin.  Elaine was giving and charitable and loved by her family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her son, Evan Cummings, and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Cummings and beloved cousins in New Jersey.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cummings, her mother, Janice Moxcey, her father, Herbert Feldman, and her sister, Brenda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Reckers as Celebrant.  Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. 

Elaine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
