Edmund (Jack) Minser, age 62, of Sidney, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 24, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1963, in Dayton, to the late Jack Minser and Susan (Lego) Minser.
On October 7, 1994, he married Catherine (Coon) Minser and she survives.
Also surviving is son Jack M. Minser of Cincinnati, and sister Amy Minser of Oakwood, OH.
He was preceded in death by brother Robert “Bobby” Minser.
Jack was a 1981 graduate of Oakwood High School. He was a retired machinist from Victory Tool in Sidney.
Jack loved to fish, he enjoyed working in his yard, and working on everything. In his later life he enjoyed building go carts and coaching his son in baseball. Jack was a long-time Oakland Raiders fan until they moved to Las Vegas, then he switched to the Detroit Lions. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Burial will be in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Jack’s memory.
