Donnie Ray Bell

Donnie Ray Bell, age 73, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born January 3, 1953, in Warren, Michigan, to Edward Bell and Lorene Sarah (May) Bell.

On June 5, 1993, he married Yvonne (Coburn) Bell, and she survives. Also surviving are children, Amy (Brandon) Harvey of Troy, Karie (George)Furman of Sidney, Joshua Bell of Sidney, Jordan (Holli) Bell of St. Mary’s, Sarah R. Bell of Sidney, grandchildren, Krista, Charles, Ryan, Edin, eight grandchildren, sisters, Nova West of Troy, Judy Allen of Nicholasville, Ky., brothers, Steve (Joyce) Bell of Florida and Eddie Bell of Tennessee. Also, his favorite dogs, Buster and Baxter.

Donnie was employed for 35 years of faithful service at Copeland Corporation in Sidney. He was a 1971 graduate of Middleboro, Kentucky High School and attended the University of Kentucky. He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Football. Donnie loved cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, at the Adams Funeral home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will commence at 12:00 noon with Pastor Kris Geise officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua.
