Donna L Adams

Donna L. Adams, age 99, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Shelby Skilled Nursing Home. She was born on December 12, 1925, in Sidney to
the late Curve and Elizabeth (Wright) Evans.

Donna is survived by one son: Larry  D. Evans of Covington; three grandchildren:Larry Cecil of Sidney, Laura Vanhook of Dallas, TX, and Melissa (Joel) Liotta ofDallas, TX; two great grandchildren: Levan Vanhook and Antinio 'TJ' Moreno of Dallas Texas; and one brother:  Kenneth Ray (Patricia) Evans of Lockington, Oh.; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to the parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles O. Evans, Emery D. Evans and Victor B. Evans.

Donna attended Piqua Schools.   After school she married and moved to Dallas, TX, and she also lived in California for many years where she worked for IGA Stores and other grocery stores.   She always said she loved working!  In 2012, she moved back to Sidney.  In her retirement Donna enjoyed making crafts and selling them at Flea Markets.  She was of the Methodist Faith.  Donna’s first love was spending time with her son, and grandchildren, her brother and his wife and other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Pastor Linda Dulin-Moore, her niece, officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.  Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
