Donald Miller

Donald W. Miller, age 73, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic.  He was born in Sidney on March 19, 1950, to the late John R. and Rita (Peltier) Miller.  On May 4, 1974, he married Patricia (Mack) Miller and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Don is survived by children: Kimberly Miller of Sidney, Lucas (Jenny) Miller of Cincinnati and Ross (Ashley) Miller of Crooksville, OH; grandchildren: Samantha, Hailey, Hanna, Hayden, Gavin and Grace; brothers: Craig (Pat) Miller of Sidney and David (Nancy) Miller of Brasstown, NC; and sister: Jana (Russell) Brown of Sidney.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Bruce Miller; and one brother: Bruce Miller.

Don was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.  He was a 1968 graduate of Holy Angels High School.  Don proudly served his country as a member of the US Army, serving in Germany from 1969-1971.  He retired from Honda in Troy.  Don was a member of American Legion Post 217 in Sidney and the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing cards and woodworking.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Full military honors will be presented by the US Army and Shelby County Veterans.  Family will receive friends from 2:00-6:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to Mass on Monday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
