Donald Lee York

Donald Lee York, age 82, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born on October 2, 1940, in Pineville, KY to the late John and Jewell (Elam) York. On August 9, 1964, he married Patricia Ann (Thomas) York and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by one son: Reid (Jill) York, Noblsville, IN: One Grandson: Ryan York; and one brother: Glen (Terri) York of Sidney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; Ron York.

Donald attended Hollansbury Christian Church in Hollansburg, OH before retirement, he had worked for Dayton Tire & Rubber Co. and Dayton Power & Light, both in Dayton and Bockraft flooring. Donald was an excellent woodworker and enjoyed making pieces for the family. He also loved spending time with his wife, family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on March 23, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
