Donald "Gary" Boyd Jr.

Donald “Gary” Boyd Jr., age 53, of Sidney, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Monday, October 25, 2021 at his residence.

He was born May 28, 1968 in Sidney, to the late Donald Gary Boyd Sr. and Trisha Louise (Edington) Boyd, who survives in Sidney.

Also surviving is brother, Michael (Debra) Boyd, sisters, Robin Boyd Shadd of Sidney, Shelly (Bruce) Welbaum of Sidney and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was employed at the Honda Plant in Russell’s Point, Ohio.  He attended Sidney High School.  He loved all types of cars, especially Camaro’s and Hot Wheels.  He enjoyed listening to music.  He was a wonderful guy that children adored and will be sadly missed by his family and all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life and gathering of friends will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his brother’s  home at 1209 Constitution Avenue, Sidney, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetics Association in Donald’s memory.
